I shall be giving a guest lecture at architecture firm RMJM . My talk is entitled "By Trial and Terror," and its synopsis is as follows:
"Michael Lee will offer a reflective commentary of his art practice in relation to his training, aspirations, interests, influences, personality, experiences and ‘accidents’ he encountered along the way. In his talk, he will touch on sets of dialetics on which his art is based, challenged and fueled: art and architecture; size and scale; 2D and 3D; representation and abstraction; the artist versus the curator; teaching and creativity; work and leisure; love and neurosis."
